Hi! I am an Associate Analyst at The Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI). I conduct monitoring and evaluation of European foreign policy projects and study Eurasian domestic politics and foreign & security affairs for public and private clients.
Before UI, I worked as a policy fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations and a principal investigator at PPMI, European public sector consultancy company. I led research teams in policy evaluation projects and studies as well as conducted targeted analysis of Russian foreign and security policies for the European Commission and EU member states.
I am the author of the book “Imperfect Equilibrium: Civil–Military Relations in Russian Defense Policymaking,” which was published by Hurst Publishers and Oxford University Press in 2026.
I have a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Central European University, where I worked as a research and teaching assistant on international development projects and in research methods courses.
